Houston Meetup

Hello All,

I am reaching out to the Boxster owners of the Houston area. Myself and three other owners are taking a drive to Galveston, grab some food, and return. We will be meeting at Memorial Park at 10 am Saturday December 22nd. From there we will take I-10 east to 146. We will cruise through Kemah to Galveston. Grab some food and a drink(ummm non-alky yeah) on the seawall and return through the same route. Anyone interested let me know! I hope to see you there. Weather should be great!

I can meet along the way, as I am out in Kingwood it doesn't make sense to drive out to Houston and then turn back around.

Any check point near I-10 and Hwy 146 you would like to meet?

On I-10 outside the beltway, there's a Wendy's on the south side just before Sheldon. Take exit #783 on I-10E. You'll see Wendy's on the right. There's a Chevron station just after Wendy's.

Wendy's
15770 East Fwy.
Channelview, TX 77530

That's about 20 mi. from Memorial Park. Maybe meet there around 10:30-10:45am.

Sounds like a plan .

Be at the Wendy's around 10:30.

Maybe warmer in the garage I hope but may be taking the hairdryer out with me or turn the heater on high and drive like a crazy man :D

It was great to meet some of you for the first time and to see others again, it was a great top down day and a nice ride followed up with lunch at the Crab Shack!

Took a couple of shots.

You guys must of had fun!

I'd say in the very near future we'd have to meet up as fellow Texans some time, huh? Would be a blast.

stateofidleness 12-22-2012 09:29 PM

I'm down to tag along as well! Timing was bad on this one, but keep us posted of future meets.

Travis, thanks for the pics. That was Damon behind you.

Kenny, we Texans definitely need to get together sometime. Nov - Apr is the best time to do it. Maybe we can all meet in Austin and do a run on the 85mph toll road.
