Non-Smoker woes

I got my non-smoker kit the other day and was all excited to install it today but then hit a major snag. My car does not have heated seats so it has two dummy switches on in place of the usual switches. These switchs are molded in to the assembly so they cannot be removed. They must assume everyone that has bought the non-smoke has heated seats because otherwise you have two stupid holes where the heated seat buttons should be. I called eagleday and they didn't know if Porsche makes a non-smoke kit for non-heated Boxsters with the dummies included. Any advise?

You remove the dummy switches and put them in your non smoker tray. The dummies are not molded in. The tray does not come with dummies already installed. In, fact, the only way the tray is sold is with 4 empty holes. See, that tray is also used on a 996 and their heated seat switches are in the bat wing.

This is the trim next to the radio but it is the same for what you need to do.

Thanks Tool Pants! You are da man. When I took a look at the underside of the assembly it looked like a one-piece molded unit and I was bummed out. It looks like they snap in place from your pic. I will give'er a try tomorrow. Thx again.
