How to operate spoiler when parked?
OK maybe I should have done a search on this.
How do I make the spoiler rise when the car is parked? |
Push the spoiler switch with the key in the on position...
The switch is down by the fuse panel (lower left) Push the lower part of the switch to lower the spoiler again. |
Thanks Heiko, Is that in the right rear fender area from inside the trunk?

V Rod, it's on the fuse panel, driver's left side, you can actuate it from the driver's seat.

It only comes up at 70MPH while driving and then goes back down, so most of the time you'll probably find it never comes up.
Little rocker switch Down by your left foot when you sit in the car.... |

Its down by your left foot just above the floor under the black fuze access panel. Its hidden quite well.

Awesome! Thank you all. I am in the middle of doing that first hard core detailing and I like to be able to get around the edges of all the panels.

Theres an app for that....
Hi all
FYI You can get a stock look switch that you can install into the stock dash that can raise and lower the spoiler. It also has a light that indicates when the spoiler is in motion (it flashes if you use the switch or when it is triggered to raise/lower automatically). When it is fully raised the light stays illuminated. Really neat and relatively simple to fit. The guys ebay member id is stefan118hydraulik he is in Germany. I know he ships to UK as I bought one and am pretty sure he ships to US too. Not affiliated to him in any way. Just love it and wanted to let you guys know. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1355234953.gif http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1355234971.jpg This is it installed in my 2001 'S' http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1355235259.jpg |
