Busted Tranny!!!!!
 

Well friends it finally happened.....after 105,000 miles my 5 spd tranny decided to go kaput!....I had been driving my car regularly yesterday all morning and decided to stop at Costco to pick-up a few things. I pulled out of my parking space in reverse and then shifted to 1st gear to start out of the lot, once moving forward after a few feet the car stopped suddenly and would not move, would not shift in to gear or reverse...next thing I've noticed was the smell of heated clutch and a small yellowish puddle emerging from under my car :eek: (gear lube!!)....I'ts righ now in the shop of a trusted mechanic waiting for a diagnostic.... preliminary indications pointed at the RMS, however it never leaked or gave weakening indications to me.

Any feedback from my fellow gear-heads in this forum?
