Christmas came early this year :-)

Look what Santa (a.k.a. Me) just put in my driveway

Still have the Boxster, undecided if to hang on to it or to sell it.
About the C4S: This car is incredible. Compared to the acceleration of the Boxster you feel like you're sitting on a rocket (big grin on my face)

Chris - nice!..and the perfect color! Congrats you will really enjoy it I am sure. It will be tough to give up the top down 986 though. I want the new Cayman but can't see myself living without the ragtop.

What year, mileage, color inside?

Oh and is that rain in CA?

coreseller 12-03-2012 07:28 PM

Absolutely Beautiful. Love the color, not to mention the widebody rear hips!! Congrats......

2009 C4S "launch car", special car which was sent to dealers when the 997.2 came out.
Has a great set of options like:
Carbon fiber race seats, Sport Chrono Plus, PCM 3.0, iPod, Bluetooth, XM radio, full black leather, PDK
30 k miles
And yes it was RAINING in LA and POURING in the San Francisco Bay Area :-)

Oh by the way: I can finally take both my kids (12 and 8 years old) to school in my P'car :-)
The 8 year old has actually more than enough space in the back

Looks awesome! I must catch a ride if you bring it to Buttonwillow. 3.8L PDK rounds out the car nicely.

Ghostrider 310 12-03-2012 09:40 PM

Nice grab and congrats! You're going to like that sport + and PDK I know I do. +1 on the rocket feeling and I really like your quad out exhaust, it looks mean.

PS You will never enjoy those Boxster seats again after the CF buckets!!! It's now going to feel like you are putting your car on like a racing glove rather than going for a drive.

You'll be a regular Jean Sorel around town in that ride. The only way it could be nicer, is if it was speed yellow ! :p

Wow, that's a jewel...Beautiful...the rain just makes it look that much more special.

That would be so much fun to drive, your going to have a really sore grin for the next 6 months at least.

I pitty the poor fellow that had to sell it, he probably cried a river, which accounts for it being so wet :p

I often wonder what a person would or could drive after THAT car!
You have to stop driving all together and just ride in Limo's so as not to pitty yourself.

Congrats!

Looks great and welcome to the dark side!

I am certainly planning to go to Buttonwillow and it would be my pleasure to have you ride shotgun. Maybe you could give me a few pointers how to drive a rear engine car ;-)
Btw: aren't you glad I didn't buy the hairdressers car :-)

If you want to receive, you must believe!

Nice work, Santa! How do you like the extra +100 HP's?

BruceH 12-04-2012 01:20 PM

Very Nice! I am going to have to send my list to Santa!

Verrrry nice Chris. Congrats!!

Great car and great find on a launch vehicle. You have a low serial number and a loaded car. Porsche puts everything but the kitchen sink in their launch vehicles. Did you know it was a launch vehicle before you bought it? The 06 Cayman S I sold earlier this year was one but I didn't know it until doing further research after I purchased it. Lucky find on my part.

Hopefully the weather clears for you.

I love new Christmas toys! Something about getting older and able to get better ones!

Johnny Danger 12-04-2012 06:45 PM

All I ever get for Christmas is a jumbo pack of tube socks and a Hai Karate shaving kit . :(
