Better but still not running perfectly

Boxster 2000 S

Lately, the idle was bouncing a lot and shaking the car. When I was trying to drive a little hard, It feel like not much power and engine was often cuting power. When I depress the clutch, engine would die. Start again and was running ok, sometime à good cloud of smoke.

Now, last week I changed the MAF and clean the throttle body, but no change. Tonight I changed the AOS (not that easy) and now idle is really good, but I still have engine power cut out. Still no code. Next step in 2 days, I will change the spark plugs and the fuel filter.

Anything else worth to check while I'll be under the car?

Fuel filter, fuel pump... When was the last time the filter was changed? Check your fuel preasure, pump may be going bad.

I dont know about the fuel filter but not since I own the car. So it will surely help.

How do I check the fuel pressure? Do I need special tools? I need to search about that on the web.

Thanks
Chris

Found fuel pressure procedure. Will change fuel filter in 2 days and see if I need to do it.

Thanks
