Better but still not running perfectly
Boxster 2000 S
Lately, the idle was bouncing a lot and shaking the car. When I was trying to drive a little hard, It feel like not much power and engine was often cuting power. When I depress the clutch, engine would die. Start again and was running ok, sometime à good cloud of smoke. Now, last week I changed the MAF and clean the throttle body, but no change. Tonight I changed the AOS (not that easy) and now idle is really good, but I still have engine power cut out. Still no code. Next step in 2 days, I will change the spark plugs and the fuel filter. Anything else worth to check while I'll be under the car? Tanks Chris |
Fuel filter, fuel pump... When was the last time the filter was changed? Check your fuel preasure, pump may be going bad.

I dont know about the fuel filter but not since I own the car. So it will surely help.
How do I check the fuel pressure? Do I need special tools? I need to search about that on the web. Thanks Chris |
Found fuel pressure procedure. Will change fuel filter in 2 days and see if I need to do it.
Thanks Chris |
