Battery Maintainer

I just received a battery maintainer from Suncoast.

Much to my surprise the transformer will not plug into an outlet. It must be a European type of transformer. Is that the way they all are...and do I now need some sort of adapter? It's useless the way it is!!

If so, why the heck didn't Suncoast let me know?

I'll be calling them tomorrow...but I was wondering if anybody has experienced this?

I got mine from them, albeit several years ago. Mine is happy to plug into the standard North American (=) socket.

Can you post the response from Suncoast? Just getting ready to order one myself and don't want to waste time if it doesn't work.

How much does Suncoast charge for the Battery Maintainer? Including shipping. Thanks.

BTW, the PN showing on mine is 000 043 202 56, "PORSCHE Genuine Parts".

If I remember correctly, I paid ~$59 for it about 3 years ago.

I got an email from Suncoast saying that they must have sent the wrong charger. They are going to email me a return UPS sticker. They will send the right one when I return the wrong one.

Sounds like a reasonable response to me.

I bought a car cover also. Here is the cost with shipping to Michigan.

Silverguard cover $139.95
Battery maintainer 55.55
Shipping 12.75
