Door Entry Guards Carbon Illumin ??
 

What is this option (option code CXD)? Is it the illuminated version of carbon door sil model insignia (option code X69)? I mean, it lights up when you open the door? I think that would be so cool at night.

Can someone confirm this option or actually tell me what it is?

Code CXD- are the illuminated carbon door entry gaurds ($1,380). This conflicts with codes X69 and X70.

Code X69- are the non-illuminated resion of the above ($570).

CXB- are steanless steel, illuminated ($780)

X70- are metal door sill model insignia ($415).

Holy cow! That's a lot of cash for a little piece of trim. I'd buy aftermarket from Ebay.

I think it would look very cool, as you open your door at night. For the price part. I agree that it is pretty expensive for an added wires and a bulb. However, I don't think you can find after market version. Since it is probably very rare...

Bolkar, you might be able to find these on E-bay, or some of the lower cost Porsche places that some of the guys talk about here on the Forum. I think they are Brandywine and Sunset (not sure of the names). Most of these items are available as Tequipment.
