Yeah, its a relatively new technology. I have no idea how it works, or how reliable they are.

The idea is they contain a capacitor they stores electrical charges and creates a faster spark. They claim ~2 nanoseconds.

The idea is it creates more effiecient combustion. Resulting in lower emissions, and higher fuel mileage and horsepower. However, I have no personal experience with them, nor know anyone that's risky enough to try them.

Agree with plugs being Marketing BS. I feel the same way about the multi electrode units. If your car has a miss it's not going to be repaired by said plug, nor do I think anyone could tell the difference in actual performance.

+1. All marketing BS. With the coil pack sitting right on top of the spark plug there is no significant delay or lack of voltage/amperage if you're using a standard brand name of spark plug and the coil pack is in good condition.

Like others, can't believe these will make a difference.

At 6000 rpm each cylinder fires off once every hundredth of a second. The fact that this spark plug would fire off two billionths of second (or 0.0000005%) faster isn't likely to make a noticeable difference in performance or mileage.
