General newbie detailing questions

Is there anywhere I can get some advice on detailing my 02 S? It is my daily driver and I try to take great care of the car, wash it weekely, keep interior and rims clean, etc. Now I know there is the other end of the spectrum where people use 4 buckets to wash their cars, count the thread of the towels used to dry, etc. I'm interested in keeping my car looking great but I have to be realistic too. I don't have a day a week to use a 10 step system to wax my car. I'm exaggerating but you get my point. I've learned to wash from top down and NOT to use standard bathroom towels. Any other practical pointers I can pick up?

Any tricks to keeping wheels clean? I use simple green and dawn dish soap to cut the brak dust and then towel dry them.

Thanks for the help.

SeaNile, try using the web site www.autopia.org for car care tips. What color is your car? That will make a big difference regarding the amount of time required to keep it looking great.

Agree with bussmatti. You can download a file from this link that is very helpful.
