Will 18 and 19in rims fit??

Hi,

Will 18 or 19in rims Porsche rims fit my 1997 Boxster?.

Yes and NO.
They will fit, but are not recommended due to structural issues.

Surely if you fit a larger diameter rim you would fit a lower profile tyre thus keeping the overall diameter the same. Why would this create structural problems?

Nothing over 18"...

Put 19" Carrera Sport wheels on my 02 Boxster, Fit no problem with a 55x8.5 fronts, and 42x10 rear. Looked great, and had more rubber on the road!

What fun is that? :D

Got to leave a little 'Remember me' rubber or are talking about balls of rubber? (Marbles are only good on a race track)

19" wheels work fine on my '98 Boxster.
It just makes the car pretty uncomfortable, but it handles great and I never had any structural issues.
