Haven't got all 4 wheels finished yet. Here is a shot with the Red wheels and one with the stock wheels (blackened)http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1351821796.jpg

Hum...that red looks is KEWL! I know many folks really like black, some reason I've never been excited about it on a boxster. I've seen it in person though and it looks much better then in pics. I've actually been thinking of having mine painted red since my 2000 'S' is guards red. Your first pics of the actual rim pained in black with the chrome does look nice, hope to see them on the car soon. Post pics when you do.

Nice touch with the matching vent, like that sliver of silver peaking thru. Hard not to look! |
Love the red!

I did the same flat black wheels on my silver Boxster and they look awesome. Good job!

your side marker lights are black,
your ambers are all black taillights = black ....... Rims in black look the best IMHO. also look at how the black rims dont catch your eye, they blend in with the shadows, thus giving the car a slightly lowered mirage. When I put the black rims on mine, my dad swore I lowered it. |
