Some sutle improvments on my new 986

Hello All,

I recently bought a 1997 Boxster. I took a long time to find a good one (I hope!), bought it from Virginia and drove it back to Westport CT. Mechanically I have had a full 60,000 mile service done and also the crank case breather as it had an oil leak. I also had the emission sensor changed due to the engine light being on. On the cosmetic front I have changed the gear stick boot, removed the front plate and added bumper plugs, new matts, rear license plate cover, center crest caps and a good clean! I am going to remove the airbag stickers from the vanity mirrors this weeks.

I have to say I do love this car, cant stop driving it and stand in my garage looking at it. I have had a 911SC and also a 2010 Cayman S but for the money this car beats them both...........

I want to upload a few pics but it says file too big? its only a standard jpeg, amy ideas?

You have to reduce the size of the picture files before it will allow you to upload them. They cannot exceed a file size of 488K each.
You can post up to 5 pic's max per post or reply..
If using a MAC computer you can Export to a different file size.
Either way, you have to save the picture file smaller..
Hope that helps..

I use a MAC, maybe someone that uses Windows can lend a hand.
The has to be a way to reduce the size from File - Save As, or resize..

Try opening in "Paint" and "Resize" the photo by percentage (20% should be good) and then save the photo as a jpeg.

I use Ifranview to resize on a PC.

Get the Combo Pack. It includes the bumper plugs and the door key hole plug.

Order Form
