What do you keep in the Side Compartment of the door.

I was wondering as to what the members of this board keep in the side compartment of the door, I have attached velcro and it hold my pistol or my key when needed.

In the driver's door pocket: sunglasses, wallet and the little red clip for the alarm system. Nothing in the passenger side pocket.

A couple of sticks of dynamite for slow drivers or unforseen roadblocks... hahahahaha just kidding....
Sunglasses, my old digital cam on the driver side and sunglasses, new england best roads roadmap and kleenex in the passenger side (Caution wife may change contens without given notice)

I keep my wallet there while I go into the gym! It's basically hidden:) Unless you have a Boxster you wouldn’t know its there. Heck, when I bought mine I didn’t even see it until after a couple weeks!

paintboy 10-24-2012 04:45 AM

four inch tall silver plastic alien, reading glasses, passenger side is empty, as far as I know...

Compact .45 when on road trips (yes I have multiple CCW's) otherwise a couple of pens and my GPS unit.

ekam 10-24-2012 06:36 AM

How do you guys fit a gun in there? I'm already having difficulty pulling out just a CD... maybe I have fat fingers.

You'll find a flame thrower and whatever book I might be reading at the time .

ProjectM96 10-24-2012 06:45 AM

Tissues, Wheel Lock, Tire Pressure Gage, Insurance/registration, and EZ Pass.

Sometimes I find candy wrappers and torn mail that my gf hides in the passenger side.

Ghostrider 310 10-24-2012 07:29 AM

N/A on race cars

Kenny Boxster 10-24-2012 07:55 AM

Insurance information and a couple of pencils.

Homeboy981 10-24-2012 08:11 AM

Remote garage door opener (wanted to find a way to use buttons on my dash but could not find the proper "rocker switches" that matched the console). Also, sunglasses, t-shirt for spills.

On the far side, mine answer is like @Heiko's response….empty but (Caution wife may change contens without given notice).

Not that you would ever consider transporting a restricted firearm (directly to and from the approved range of course) without it being unloaded, in a locked case, and accompanied by a valid Authorization to Transport. ;)

Reckles_Kelly 10-24-2012 09:50 AM

I keep my pistol there while I'm at work or going into somewhere that I can't take it. Passenger side has all of my wife's stuff to keep her hair in place because the top doesn't go up unless it's raining!

+1 to all you guys who carry guns.

Since I track my car a lot, there isn't anything in either side compartment.

I laughed when I read this. We have weird gun laws up here. I've got nothing in there right now while she is in storage but usually have several sungalsses, napkins and insurance info.
