Hardtop season is here, can I see some pics? Mainly for the gap
Hard top season is here and I think my hard top sits too far from the actual body at the back.
How big is your gap? Any pics? |
MIne is off now here in Florida, but the back does sit about 3/4 " above the body. It sits on the seal gasket.

Hi
HT in place, no fastening. Some sideways alignment in front part can b e done with the "Flips" that enter the front window frame Between window frame and HT front , 5,5 +/-1mm Gap in the area between side and rear window 5,5 +/- 3,5mm Remove cover above the Spinlock, there are 5 allen bolts for adjustment in hight an sideways. All takes 30 - 60 minutes. P-O Ps for exact details: http://www.2010.cannell.co.uk/manuals/manuals_porsche.html Ds |
I put my top on last week. I'd say I have about 1/2" or more. I was wondering the same thing but it does seal well and stays in place in the triple digits.

Be careful, you can adjust it too tight resulting in breaking the pins in the shafts of the red levers when you move the levers to the closed position. BTDT.
