Placing rocker switches on dash board and central console

2001 porsche boxster s:
Need to know how to remove the plastic covers for the rocker switch covers on the left side dash cluster and by the central console. Planning to replace them with real rocker switches for traction control, dome lights and heated seat switches??? Please help. Thanks.

pry the little panel that holds the switches out with a flat head (wrap some painters tape or something soft to keep from scratching / scuffing the area)

after that, the switches just pop out. i believe they're held in place with tabs
