Thanks....I think these would just be left and right clip sets.
I need the rectangular foam pads that go on the bottom edge of the deflector

I have a wind deflector that will not COME OFF AT SPEED. Happy to share design with you and others here since we are not going to market…no time.
It takes $20 of a special plexiglass and some time. It will secure between the Wind Deflector and the padding with the Factory fasteners. It's hard to steal too, if you live in that sort of place.

PM me and I'll send you the info. Also, anyone who has asked about it before we can do a tutorial if I get enough interest.

Just tryin' to give back, man.

Thanks yes I would be interested....one of my factory clips fatigued...the lever on the clip. The deflector became loose on that side and let go....you wil hear it before it flies. I reached back and grabbed it in time

Why not just get some 3M foam pad things for mounting posters and stuff from Walmart or your office supply cabinet? Cut it into a few thin strips and apply.

It might work....this is dense foam though

3M office supplies may not sit well with my Porsche OCD though

Okay what I did was get some appropriate size Wurth weather stripping from a dealership fits perfectly and takes up any slop in the latches and clips.
I found that old latches have lost all of their spring and pliability. This makes them brittle and not able to function as intended. There is a rib in the latches that must act like a cantilevered leaf spring....if it deforms or goes brittle you loose the spring loaded latching action.

So now I have a nice tight wind flector that won't fly away for a while!

Turns out I posted in the wrong section when i responded to already started thread...
I know it is an old one... but instead of creating a new one, let's add more info here.

 986 561 323 00

 What is in the kit?
Both clips are "mobile", so rivets need to be replaced. Fine, I could use some I have at home.
But one side is slightly damaged.

Then, there are "clips" on the wind stop glass.

Are those included in the kit?

Or maybe a better question would be - any other fixing ideas?

 Thanks,
