Beyond 200.000 Km

How long can the 986 last in the Km department before it's finally time to pack it in and put her to rest?

I've heard 600.000 Km ??

;)

200 km is not very far...neither is 600. I sure hope yours lasts longer than that ;)

200,000 km (about 125,000 miles) is becoming pretty common (and easily acheived) and I've met two owners in person who have more than 325,000 km (200,000 miles).

I'm sure that 600,000 km (965,000 miles) is possible but probably not likely to be acheived by most owners.

I've seen a lot of Boxsters with >150,000 miles out here in Cali, maybe we just drive more . They seem be running fine.
In my Pre-kids track days, some guys had others Porsches with >250,000 miles on them.

Have you read the recycling portion of the owners manual? That's pretty funny ;)

Your math is a bit off on that last one. :p

I think there are quite a few folks here over the 325,000Km mark.
Jager is one comes to mind.

He just did the conversion backwards. An easy mistake to make.

600000km is actually 372822.7 miles

Sorry! My error. Thanks for the correction!
