Rubber seal around the headlight

Hi there,

The black rubber seal around the top half of the headlight.

Does anyone know where or if this part can be replaced. Porsche dealer where I live say no.....

Cannot find anything on the net but thought someone may know. The rubber on it at the moment has turned into a putty....

Thanks.

They are not available separately. You might get a set from a wrecker but they usually want a lot of money for them. Best bet is to see if you can buy broken headlights for cheap that still have good seals. Some people here have had good success making their own. There are a couple of threads on it that a search will turn up for you.

Hope it helps...

I also hear that these guys here in Canada carry the surrounds seperately

I saw this rubber thingy for the headlights on ebay yesterday. I think it was for an older 911, not sure if it would work. Sorry I don't have the link. It was cheap too - like $20 or less! I found it looking for Cold Air Intake parts….go figure!

Check it out!
