2001 S - SAI Pump test
 

I'm sure this has been beat to death somewhere in the forum, but I can't find the answer.
Sorry if this is old news, but... How do you test to see if the Secondary Air Injector pump is bad. I'm trying to cut to the chase and figure out how to apply a 12v power source directly to the pump to see if it functions at all, bypassing all the relays, sensors valves, etc, etc, etc
I have already checked the fuse in the rear trunk, and it's good

Also,,my apologies, I previously posted this in the wrong forum - "Technical" and don't know how to remove it, can't find the "delete" option, once in edit mode.

if you are handy and planning on keeping the car for a while, i suggest getting a durametric - it lets you activate a number of functions on the car to test operation.
