geez...just part the thing out...you would be sure to make more than $3K to $6K.

coolbreeze551 09-26-2012 07:38 AM

hahaha I saw this the other day and had a good laugh. I think this seller is on drugs because saying that "it will require $3000-5000 to fix and have it finished" from the condition it's in is a pipe dream in my opinion... Might have better luck trying to sell it as an Ariel Atom

tony_fury 09-26-2012 09:28 AM

you can get a car complete for that price..
You would still have to throw a minimum of 5K at it to make it right

thom4782 09-26-2012 09:34 AM

Actually the seller is spot on = that is if you're building a Boxster dune buggy.

1olddude 09-26-2012 06:35 PM

Wasn't this the limited edition 2005 model? I think Porsche only made one, so no wonder it is priced like that. Definitely a one of a kind and collector car!:)

A chunk of plywood and you've got a great coffee table.

Deserion 09-27-2012 05:15 AM

$5000 to fix that up? Wonder what he's been smoking. :D

Johnny Danger 09-27-2012 06:41 AM

It's the Fantasy Island edition boxster . Ricardo and Hervé would be proud .

The Radium King 09-27-2012 07:20 AM

why all the cynicism? it's got an Autocheck score of 93 and no accidents.

particlewave 09-27-2012 10:19 AM

Sweet!!!!!! :D

Guess I'm too cheap to own a Porsche

dmairspotter 09-27-2012 12:32 PM

Seller rating is 66.7. Didn't know ebay went that low.

And yet the ad description details an accident with a ditch, the ad + this thread makes me "lol" :D

black_box 09-27-2012 02:00 PM

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on some of those parts though.....

white out 09-27-2012 06:32 PM

That would be so much fun to drive.

keysguy 09-28-2012 09:25 AM

It's a good base if someone wants to build a Hillclimb car or autocross car....but not at that price
