Floor jack recommendation/survey

My first and the only floor jack began to leak oil recently.

I was wondering what floor jack you guys use.
My current jack is/was Torin made 3000 lb capacity jack made of aluminum.
I bought it because it is light weight and looked good. :)

Questions:
1. What is the make and model of your floor jack?
2. How much?
3. How long did you have it?
4. Repair history if any.
5. How precisely can you control the drop/lowering speed?

Thanks in advance.

Harbor Freight Aluminum Racing Jack with Rapid Pump

It's a Pittsburgh Automotive and you can get coupons for buying it. The list price right now is 89.99. Light weight, looks cool. I've had mine two years without any issues. It fits nicely under the Box with no modifications. It goes down to less than three and a half inches and lifts to over fourteen. The rubber saddle works perfectly in lifting the Boxster. It drops with a twist of the handle and you can control it with a little care. Harbor Freight item number 68053.

Got the bigger one from Costco, ran @ $100. Nothing but happy with it, and it is low clearance as well. Had it many years now

I am also looking for a new one. I will probably only ever use it once per year cause I am not a wrencher, but do need it every once in a while. I have a duralast 2.5 ton but it is not low profile. Cost me about 120 at Autozone and used it on my 356 speedster which it fit under very well. But it does not fit under my boxster...not even close by about 2 inches.

I dont want to spend a ton on one either...I am hoping to find a low profile that is solid for a once or twice lift a year. I just really dont want to have to drive up on wood blocks or use my scissor jack to lift it a few inches and then use what I have. I am selling it on craigslist to soften the blow of buying another one, but no hits yet. I used it twice in its 6 month life that I have had it...

Duralast product seems good in my opinion...

Get a lift. The amount of $ I've spent on various jacks and stands over the years would probably add up to half the cost of the Bendpak lift I bought. I recently put in a coolant tank which is an awful job even with a lift, but don't think I could have done w/o it.

Lift looks to be 2890.00 + shipping. Although I concur 100% that a lift makes repairs much more efficient and in general easier on the spine, I can't see the cost of a good set of stands and a jack coming close to half.

My floor jack appear to have developed a bad wobble, it was POS gift anyways. I'm looking for a good jack for oil changes , brake jobs, but no tranny work or anything huge.
I've looked for the Costco jacks but they don't seem to stock them anymore, but the local harbor freight has a nice selection. Anybody try them? I would never climb under a car without jack stands but I don't want to buy crap either.

You guys got pics of lift setup in your garage, how much space they take up?

After I remodel the garage this winter that might have to be in the budget.
