Rear glass window defroster fell off

On my 2003 Boxster S, there are 2 attachments to the glass, one on each side. One side fell off. What can I use to reapply the defroster to the window.

I had the same problem and found an adhesive made just for this purpose at a chain auto parts store. It held just fine, but the defroster does not seem to work. I have not tried checking the wiring back to the switch yet to see if the failure is elsewhere.

Autozone has a copper based solution that is designed to repair broken defroster lines and restore connectivity. Cost was only about 6 bucks.

I used the tab repair kit off here when mine broke:

Frost Fighter Online Catalog

It's a silver based epoxy, works really well.
