Changing "filters" help
Where is the "cabin filter" located in my 02 S and is it different than the intake air filter? I changed the air intake filter myself but was wondering if it is easy to change the cabin filter and how to do it? Appreciate any advice from all the experts as I am just learning my way around this fabulous automobile. Love this forum!

Nothing beats breathing clean air through the pollen filter with the roof down.

I just changed mine and the housing looks like it is suppose to have some sort of a lid. Mine does not however. Is there suppose to be a lid you remove after you take away the plastic piece held down with the torx screw?

The large plastic cover acts as the lid. |
One tip is don't completely remove the screw, if you do the backing nut can fall down and out the bottom.of the car. The Bentley says to just loosen it and rotate the cover off.

Thank you guys.
