Yeah I'm looking into a maxjax in the future....but I wanted the garage to look good and be organized first. (Said my wife) Also a good friend of mine that I met on here (Doug427) has an awesome garage that we do routine maintenance on our cars. His garage is setup nicely for actual diy.
Baby steps but I will get there.

Took the car to the local dealer for a safety and emission inspection as required here in PA. It passed the emissions but failed the safety due to a cracked motor mount! They wanted $900 for the repair. Luckily, I have a garage now and may do it myself or have a local, recommended on here, shop do it for about $275 along with a reinspection. I figured I'd give the dealer a shot... and I got a cheap (complimentary with the safety inspection) multi-point inspection done and a list of things to do in the near future.

Found the problem of my EVAP issues... Apparently when the fuel pump was replaced back in 2016, the "mechanic" who replaced it thought epoxy would fix a broken purge vent. When I confronted him about it, he just said, "whatever".
But it's fixed now, replaced the float assy and all is well.

No offence but if a customer came up to me after 5 years and complained... I'd say whatever too. Its 20 year old plastic that gets doused with gasoline all the time; what do you expect?

I think that’s his point, it’s a stupid way to repair it and the guy should have known better

That is exactly my point. If he had fixed it correctly, or at the very least brought it to my attention, it would have saved me over $900. Even if he caused the damage, I would have never known. I think he broke it when replacing the pump, and instead of manning up, he just used epoxy to cover his ass.

Work like that and the businesses that employ workers like that should be reported to your local Better Business Bureau.

Took out my CLU, ECU and FOBs to get the wet CLU repaired. Hoping it can get fixed. I've heard positive results are possible.
My car has always started, run and driven well. Just a few nice-to-haves like Windows that roll down and doors that lock :-) would be nice.

Painted my wheels black and put on Porsche decal. I think it looks good on a white car!

Removed the wet sheetrock and insulation from the top and rear end. The plastic rear window did not fare as well as hoped. The wet gypsum also marred several spots on the fenders and one door. Took photos and made an insurance claim. Will start demo of the remainder of the garage ceiling mess tomorrow.
