I attended the Porsche's and Pontoons event at High Rock Lake in Lexington, NC. Although, the weather was not great, the cars, food and people were. Anytime you can get that combination together a great time is sure to entail.

Another picture from Porsche's and Pontoons. Unfortunately, it rained enough that you needed a pontoon, just to get to the event.

Completed headlamp restoration, and when I removed the tape which was to initially protect my paint, I pulled off some clear coat. Time for a paint job $$

Installed a TopSpeed cat back muffler system. 2hrs of easy diy work.

Coffinhunter, I too use a 3100 psipressure washer on the wheels. Works great!

Also put a PORSHE letters on the pop-up spoiler. ($10)

How did you do those rings? I have a set with what looks like tiny little strips of tape?

Thumbs up

Washed, rinsed and towel dried her. Vacuumed the interior, then cleaned and conditioned her seats.

Drove her down to the City Manager's office to appeal a red-light camera ticket. Succeeded and got the fine rescinded.

Stopped for a nice fish lunch, complete with a glass of Riesling.

Some days, I guess it IS worth unbuckling the straight-jacket!

Installed a smoked 3rd brakelight purchased from maxspeed-motorsports.com very easy install...didn't even have to reverse the polarity.

Attempted 1st oil change...all fine until I tried to get old filter off. The autozone "cheap" alternative wrench was worthless. Trying to save a few bucks by not buying the Porsche wrench seems to be my mistake. Called my plumber and he was able to gat a channel lock type wrench on it and break it loose without damaging the filter housing.

Next project...attack the rear suspension in hopes of eliminating "clunking" noise.

There is an oil filter wrench for a Dodge? I believe that fits perfectly. I am not at home right now to see the exact model, but maybe someone else can chime in. I bought mine at Pep Boys for less than 5 bucks if I remember correctly. It works great!

...lost my AX season...by .07 seconds.
Last AX, my main rival pipped my by 0.07 seconds. Today, he did it again by the same margin.
Arrrrghhh! But that's racing. Time to start saving up for new tires for next year!
