Drove over 200 miles on the glorious Blue Ridge Parkway on the way to BRBS18. This is why we bought this car. What a road, with hardly any traffic.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...822e86084f.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...74ad946829.jpg

Took a little cow country drive on Scott Road near Rancho Murietta, CA. Kind of hot, but nice.

Lowered the driver's side window and heard a pop. Now the window won't go up. Then there was a thunderstorm. Got it covered just in time. Guess I'll be doing door surgery tonight. At least I've done the passenger side before and think I have any parts I'd need.

Edit: Got it done before dark. It was broken plastic on the regulator. I used the 101 Projects book the first time I did it. Piece of cake now.

When I bought my car in Cali and drove it the long way home to Montreal, this was one of my fondest memories. I think it was a Tuesday morning, early spring, perfect day, top down, nobody for miles. I absolutely kept to the 35 mph limit!

Earlier this week I got the factory GT3/Aero kit bumper and factory side skirts mounted. It has been a long process of acquiring the factory parts thru e-Bay (bumper) and side skirts (Suncoast- their last set for $695 plus shipping- a steal) finally painted and mounted.

Nice look!

Cleaned out sticky radio knob and other soft touch sticky mess on my 2003-S. The cleaning solution did not dull any color or cause any other issue. Now they feel like the way they should.

Yesterday - washed it with rinse-less car wash due to water restrictions and it was filthy with pollen and water spots (black car - needs to be clean!). Worked really well actually and left a nice shine and was really easy and quick to do!

This morning - drove it to work. Glorious 10 minute ride. The only time I wish I worked further from home is when I drive it to work!

Normally I'm not a big fan of aero kits, but that looks amazing! Nice job!

Installed the new right rear wheel housing.

Just waiting for the new (for me) rear bumper (cover) to arrive (via freight) on Monday...

Oh, and installed a new muffler clamp to replace the one that rusted out.

I glanced at mine this morning, then got in the subaru. I need to make a decision on tires, as my rears are no longer safe to operate.

Changed out the sticky knobs on the CDR-220 for new ones. Tried cleaning them but they were too far gone.

Used a smoke machine to find a leak on the crankcase vent hose that goes the the lower AOS fitting... you know, that 60$ hose underneath the fuel rail that you've dreamed of replacing ^^

We went out on a drive with the Porsche club of Victoria on Sunday. I was following a Cayman, when we spotted two Kangaroos coming out of the trees at the side of the road. Believe me, you don't want to hit a roo, they are big, so everyone was breaking hard. The first roo decided to jump across the road just in front of the Cayman, then the second decided to go just as the Cayman got level and bounced off the side of the car. The Cayman was only doing about 10ks by that point and stopped. The knocked over roo got up and went back, and finally the first roo decided to go back as well by jumping clean over the Cayman I told them after we stopped and they had no idea about the roo jumping over them. Fortunately no serious damage done to the Cayman. How I wish I had had a dashcam!

Hey, that looks familiar, congrats! I found the bumper and side skirts on eBay about 1 year apart. Consider the GT3Tek rear bumper/diffuser piece. I think it finishes the look and blends with the OEM GT3 look (search the forum or their website for a pic, I don't have a good one now).
In my opinion it makes the Boxster look almost like new. No one believes me when I tell them mine is a 14 year old car.

Yea, your car was one of the ones that made me decide to pull the trigger on getting it done. I like the GT3Tek rear diffuser but struggle with keeping it OEM or not.Plus will it fit on the "04 because of the factory diffusers? I am seriously debating the Carrera lights that you have. Always loved them, If I had any other 17's than the ones I have, I would have already replaced them. I'd love to put the aero kit I rear spoiler as I like it better than the aero kit II wing, but it wouldn't be OEM correct.

My 2002 S has OEM full aero kit, auto spoiler installed in car but deactivated.

Replaced the Frunk Strut Supports.
It's nice having the hood raise itself (from about half way or so) and STAY UP.....instead of hitting me on the head all the time.
