993 18" twists tire fitment question
 

Just bought a set of 993 twists that were used on a VW Vanagon. The tires are on their last leg, but not even sure if they would fit my 00 Base anyway. Found a listing on Craigslist for these Toyos:

Toyo T1R's 18" staggered set
Front 225/40ZR18 @8/32 - 80%
Rear 255/35ZR18 @5/32 - 50%

Was wondering if they would be decent replacements - the twists are 8x18 fronts (et52) and 10x18 rears (et65). I already know I'm going to need spacers. Found another listing for 3/4 inch spaces (19mm). If that enough too? (Based on other forum responses, 20-23 mms spacers seemed to be the recommendation).
