tire question

I blew out a rear tire (ran over a screw, tire lost air on the highway and it tore up). No damage to the car otherwise.

The remaining three tires are pretty new (within 5K-7K miles), so I will keep the remaining tires and just buy a replacement.

Now my questions:
- Should I rotate the other rear?
- Replace the side that flatted and leave the other rear alone?
- On a 986S, does one side of the car get more wear in the rear due to the power train?

Thanks.

1 - If you have asymmetric tires, then no.
2 - Probably, depends on wear
3 - my right rear tends to eat up wheel bearings, but both sides eat up tires.

1. There is no particular reason to rotate the other rear.
2. Yes, just replace the damaged tire.
3. No, both sides should generally wear evenly. If they are not (to a significant degree), then something is likely wrong.
