Hi,

I had a similar problem on my '99 w/ the Windstop. In addition, I have heard of several instances where the Windstop was torn off the car at speeds above 75MPH.

So, instead of going the felt strip route, I got some doublesided Foam tape. I carefully cut down the .75" strip to maybe .3" and placed a 1" piece under each side of the Center Stop and a .5" strip under the bottom of the Side Stops.

This has the double-effect of both wedging the Stops in place, but also adds an adhesive to help it from blowing out. I never remove the Windstop (or have the Top up for that matter - Sunny Day, Seasonal Car) so removal isn't an issue. But it will remove with a little careful pulling. Maybe a little denatured alcohol might be needed to remove any residual adhesive from the RollBar. Hope this helps...

Happy Motoring!...Jim'99
