R.I.P. Tony Scott
Terrible tragedy. The director of my all time favorite movie, "Top Gun", jumped off of a bridge and killed himself today. I'm heart broken... :(
I know this is selfish, but what does this mean for the 3D re-release of "Top Gun" and the much awaited, rumored sequel? |

As for TopGun II Tom Cruise was recently checking out locations, so it might still happen. |
He also did "The Hunger", which I saw in a theatre in about 1980/1981. When I saw "Top Gun" a few years later, I **immediately** recognized his style, and knew that the same guy had done this film ... and I'm not usually enough of an artistic type to notice that. I really liked his work.

Always liked The Hunger.... |
I was at the Apple Valley, CA airport about 3 years ago having lunch where apparently Tom Cruise had just been there scouting out a location for some kind of vintage WWII aircraft drama movie.
Did he ever get one like that one started or made? No idea what it was to be called. |
Not that I'm aware of...just "Valkyrie", but not an aircraft movie.

Is there any truth to the rumor that Tom Cruise was seen giving John Travolta a massage
at the Apple Valley Airport ? |
I posted this link:
Top Gun - Danger Zone (Music Video) - YouTube To this thread: http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/36914-johnny-danger-staying-cool-danger-zone.html Just minutes after he jumped... Spooky. |
