Flashing reverse indicator when in Park
 

A previous thread about this topic states that this error may be caused by a dirty "selector switch on the side of the tranny." (see: http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/19887-flashing-reverse-indicator-light.html)

Can anyone verify this? If so, does anyone know how to access the switch so I can try cleaning it tomorrow?
