Where to get Clear Sidemarker Lights and Q about headlights
 

Hi 2 qs...

1. I'd like to replace my amber side marker lights with clear... where can I order clear side markers with the proper bulbs and connector etc for a simple swap on my 986?

2. I am thinking about LED lights but my car came with Litronic head lights w/washer system already...better to skip and keep stock as it is a factory option code on the car? Thoughts? Is there an after market LED kit that includes the sprayer part?

Try pelican parts or suncoast.

I am looking at Pelican parts but it says "European" for the clear parts...not sure if that will work on a us 986? Also not sure which bulb goes with it...

The sprayer part is separate from the headlights. It stays in the fender when you remove the headlights. There are just holes in the lens where the sprayer nozzles protrude through the corners of the lights.
There are a lot of owners who would love to get their hands on a set of Litronic headlights. Most consider them far superior to all the others. Before you think about getting rid of yours you should check the cost of them.

The clear side markers are European spec because the U.S. spec requires amber colored lenses. They will fit fine and are plug and play. If you get the Hella ones, they come with the bulbs. I just put a set in my car a few months ago.

You might want to replace the amber bulbs with the silvered stealth bulbs too.
