CDR-23 Antenna Connector

Does anyone know the proper type / size of the CDR-23 Antenna connection?

My project this weekend is to install an "aux-in", but the RF adapter I have (Scosche) has Motorola style coax connections on both ends, so I need to get (or make) a couple of adapters to get it wired in.

Hoping I can just pick up some parts at the Shack and be on my way...

bump; I'm still stumped on the right connector for this... is what metra calls "Euro" style? Metra 20-EU30 / 20-EU-40?

Did you ever get this done? I'm considering a wired fm transmitter rather than a new stereo

So I replaced my head unit today. What a PITA (I've got the MOST bus). No harness adapters that I could find so I basically had to hand wire everything.

Ordered an antenna adapter off Ebay and low and behold it arrived as I was doing the install. But....it doesn't fit. Anyone know where I can get the right sized adapter? Google usually brings up one similar to the one I got.

Got this adapter off Ebay. Other end is fine. This end is to big.

Here's my factory antenna cable (plugs into the back of a CDR23). Where can I get an adapter that fits this little guy?

Do you want to keep that connector for any reason? You could cut the coax and put a standard connector on it.

Yes. I'm hoping one of these days a Becker BE6600 amp will turn up for a reasonable price and I can put all my stock stuff back in. In the meantime, I put in a cheap JVC head unit just so I can have something to listen too.

The Antenna adapters you need are probably this:
Amazon.com: Metra 40EU30 2002-Up VW/BMW/European Vehicle Antenna Adapter Cable Kit-Add CD with FM Modulator - 1 Each: Electronics

I say probably, because I got mine from a car audio installer, and they had no part numbers or labels on them; but these look right. for a CDR-23 it is not the scosche VWA-KB unit; that is for the CDR-220
