18" Moda R6 or 19" Replica 997 Turbo Wheels

I'm trying to decide between going with 18x8/18x9 Moda R6 or 19x8.5/19x9.5 replica wheels. I know it's ultimately up to me but I'm torn by the choice and I need some feedback on either set up to help make up my mind. Thanks!

I would not go with 19" wheels. Fewer tire choices at higher prices. Lose lose.
Tire companies love increasing tire prices big time for just a tiny bit more rubber.
Incidentally I have 18" 997 replica wheels and they are too heavy in the back for this car. It slows the car down from a stop.

take a look at the Forgeline choices in 18". They are probably the lightest wheel at that size. Lighter than the factory Carreras.

Thanks for the reply Perfectlap.

19" rubber is not that much more . i recently purchase new 18" and 19" rubber (Hankook) it was not that much difference in cost. my 19" wheels look so much better and the handling is better too.

Nice Jacabean! Thanks for posting the pics. Where did you find the techart replicas? What are your wheel widths, offsets and tire sizes? Thanks!

the wheels came from design911 UK . i could not find them in the U.S. fronts are 8.5" forget the offset and the rears are 10" 60 offset . i needed a 15mm spacer for the rears. i would like to pick up a pair of 22mm spacers in the future for more of a flush look in the rear.

works perfectly with the mods, but the replicas are too heavy and require $200 spacers.

but I like these the most. A BMW M3 shadow finish would be nice. I'm having my factory carreras redone in that color.
