Shifter Play

Hey All -

I had installed the Short Shifter sometime back and really enjoyed the response and shift, but as of late I am now noticing that there is quite a bit of play both back and forth and side to side and no longer the nice and tight feel.

Would there be a cable adjustment I could make and if so how?

Thanks!

Travis

first, pull up shifter boot and make sure jam nut is secure against housing... From there, you'll have to remove center console and make sure plastic ball joints where cables meet shifter are not cracked/split. Also check guide at transmission to ensure cables are securely in place.

There is no adjustment to cables/ends themselves which would allow play and still permit proper gear selection...

Good luck and here is link to directions for complete install (should you not already have a copy).
