identify this cable

While having my 2000 Boxster top replaced with a newer glass window model, my upholster informed me that he found a broken cable. The top had been functioning fine so I went to the shop to see for myself. This is apparently a tension cable to keep the bottom of the top secure. Has anyone had this break? I need help finding a replacement as all of the cables listed for the top are either the motor cable or the much larger tension cable that actually goes through the top itself. I cannot find this specific piece. There are two, one for each side.

Update: dealerships are trying to sell me the long tension cables and have no idea what I am talking about even though I speak slowly, clearly, and tell them exactly where this cable is located on my car - this is why I need your assistance.

Dealership: "Well sir, we have the long tension cords for the top"
Me: "Like I said, this cable is only 11 inches"
Silence
Dealership: "So you don't want the long ones?"

It's p/n 986-561-191-02, "tension rope".

Looks like Pelican Parts has them for $27.50.

Cheers,
