Sort of a poll...

If you had to name the single best quality of your Boxster, what would it be? Egs: Speed? Handling? Appearance? Comfort? Fun? Two trunks? Agility (which I suppose is the same as handling, isn't it)?

Just curious about what we will most choose...http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1339351278.jpg

Tough decision but for me it's a dead tie between handling and engine sound

Handling, performance, comfort, sound, cool factor.

My vote is "fun" is the best quality of my Boxster. I've never had so much fun commuting, running errands, etc.

+1 there!

Handles like a full-bodied go-kart, and goes like stink.

Performance (handling + power)

the Porsche badge .. haha .. just kidding

I enjoy the 'flickability' the most .. if that makes sense .. I guess that could be generalized and called handling.

+2 Boxster's are go-karts for adults! :D

Go-Kart factor.

Boxsters aren't very fast but it's much more fun to drive a slow car fast VS a fast car mid-speed.

A toss up between the moonroof and the DVD headrests .

jb92563 06-10-2012 06:10 PM

Because it looks fast, turns up on race tracks and they are not something that everyone has sitting in their driveway in suburbia and not everyone has the cahones to own and drive, and has enthusiasts and fans.

Plus, it lives up to its looks, is fun on tracks and handles like a sports car should with a Porsche emblem stamped on it.

Handling, looks and prestige!

Heated seats got me sold.

Fun to drive. Awsome engineering too.

Owning a Porsche brand for a price of a Honda Accord.

bar10dah 06-10-2012 08:53 PM

How funny you mentioned that. Last year, I sold my '05 Accord and turned around and paid cash for my '99 Boxster. I thought it humorous they were worth the same amount of money.

Kianfar 06-10-2012 09:05 PM

I did the same thing myself. Sold a 2009 Accord and got the P. :)

Acceleration and 3rd gear. Can go from 25-75 in 3rd pretty darn quick. :)
Its my favorite gear.

flybird 06-11-2012 02:53 AM

Appearance must be my favorite part because I'm always excited to see it. Very tough to choose one thing. I've owned this car for six months now and have not turned on the radio. My wife and kids will when they drive with me but I can't seem to get enough of the raw driving this car has to offer. I have always loved to drive and had many cars but none comes close to this one.:)

ProjectM96 06-11-2012 05:46 AM

Engine sound.
Handling and steering response is a close second.

southernstar 06-11-2012 09:18 AM

I really like the 'custom' features on my car: fender skirts, continental kit, bench seat in plush velour, dingo balls, curb feelers, a 'necker' knob for the steering wheel, skull shaped shift knob and a chrome, foot shaped gas pedal. Wait a minute, what forum is this??????
