My 2003 Boxster S Hit By Bus (Update)

Update: I ended up going to small claims and won $ 8,900.00 for damages, the Judge did did not award me for diminished value, but it's small claims and not civil court. I fixed it myself and it turned out excellent, I even install a Philips 4 LED DRL's and they are super bright and don't look gaudy. The bumper I got from Prestige Bumper, the grills and other items from Pelican Parts. I'm 50 years old and I took body and paint while in High School. I've alway kept up my skill from time to time on my own cars but this one really mattered.

Thank You.

Good for you. I'm 52, took metal shop in high school and was able to avoid a $500 muffler replacement in the wife's car by buying a $90 Harbor Freight wire feed welder and repairing the split seam in the resonator. After all these years, the weld wasn't pretty, but it did the trick

Boxster Hit By Bus

That's great, the parts and materials cost me about $1,500.00 so I got paid well for my labor. Back in High School in Body and Paint class I learned how to weld as well, but is was Gas/Acetelene, maybe one day I get a welding rig.

So you repaired this front end? Well done. Looks like everything lines up nicely. The DRLs look good too. Thanks for sharing.
