Trunks Locked. Heated Seat Project
 

Both the front and rear trunk leavers no longer move when pulled

Have already tried locking car with key then unlock no change
Rear trunk pops open from with key

The long story over weekend was going to finish my Heated Seat project
Pulled out passenger seat only to discover floor carpet was soaked in water
And found mold so removed all floor carpet and tossed
The battery was disconnected while I added the first wire to fuse box
Put the driver seat back in connected battery and found trunks levers locked ?

Note on water inside happened once before when rear plastic window was cracked
So replaced roof with a 2004 that had a glass window and the floor carpet was replaced
Now with no carpet been looking to try and see sorce of water, rained all night and
Found no water inside?... Poured water down rear drains only to find they both
Flowed freely

The upside with out the carpet will now have easy time finish heated seat project
