Engine Shudder and Squeaks Q

I have noticed a few things on my Boxster and wanted to ask here before taking to a dealer..

1. I have noticed sometimes (not always) when I am coming to a stop if I quickly depress the clutch to go to neutral the engine/car "shudders". I have done some searching and results seem to indicate possibility of a few items, from loose front engine mounts, to spark plugs/cylinder misfire, to clutch to O2 sensors or AOS or MAF. I doubt it is clutch as that has been recently replaced... just wondering peoples thoughts.

2. I get a lot of sqeaking when going over bumps on the road... What is interesting is going slow over a speed bump I don't hear it, I just hear the shocks compressing, but normal driving on a semi bumpy road I hear constant squeeks not sure where it is coming from...

2003 S.. with around 47k miles

thoughts?

I am guessing motor mounts on the shudder. I too have that issue and the new mount is sitting in my trunk. Lol

As far as the squeaks in the front get the control arms lubricated. There is a thread somewhere here that shows how to put a small slit in the rubber seal and lube it. I had this issue and solved it by doing that.

Hope this helps.
