Anyone in the NYC metro area want to do a DIY weekend sometime soon?
I have an indoor space with a hydraulic lift and air tools in Brooklyn. It would be a lot of fun to wrench with another Boxster owner. I have another vehicle handy, and there's sandwiches and beer next door. I've got a decent amount of experience now with these cars and love to work on them. We'll meet up in the AM, do your car first and then do mine, should be fun. Afterwards, we can wash and wax in the shade (I have all the stuff)
I have a small list of projects to do, none of which will take too long with 2 pairs of hands and power tools:
fluids
shift cables
Brake discs and rotors, probably bleeding lines too
muffler and cat bypass install (I've already dropped the muffler once, no big deal for 2 guys)
Let me know if you have similar 1-day or less jobs and we can work together.
