Window question 97 model
 

Had this one about 3 weeks, replaced the right side regulator and after some adjustment, windows go up and down as advertised. Left it in the garage with the windows down overnight last night and this morning neither window budges - can hear some light clicking but no movement. This one has a non-working top- most of the levers are disconnected and the light on the das is always on.

Tried re-seating the top, no joy. Took the latch loose and pushed the top back about 6 inches and both windows worked 100%.

Still waiting on the previous owner to send the owners manual - is this a quirk? Or is something broke?

Stick your finger up in the hook hole for the top latch and push hard. Then try the windows. If this isn't the latch you are referring to it probably needs to be replaced. Mine did the same thing.

Thanks. I think you're right. Sprayed a little contact cleaner around maybe it will work better now.
