oil fumes when running hard
One of the Boxsters I have here really allows a lot of oil fumes to enter the cabin when run hard. Anyone else have this problem?
This is just when the car car is run hard. I assume it is because the exhaust actually gets hot enough to burn the oil that normally does not get burned off during normal driving. |
Check the cam covers. When they leak, which is very common, it can drip oil onto the exhaust and burn off. The harder you drive, the more drip.
