Yup, measured temp was +15 to 20 on the dash reading.
Durametric and Autoenginuity scan tools were 3 degrees different.

Mine is 3mm off the 180 mark while cruising and in between 180 and 250 while waiting in traffic light. OBD scanner is an accurate way to check the water temp.

Read on the AC display I have 78C which is 172 F on the highway. This is the same temp as seen with a Durametric tool.
In stop and go traffic it shows up to 100C ( 212F)
This is with a low temp thermostat.
Until MY 2000 (at least) it is possible to use the AC hack to get some of the OBD info
