Any pics of Boxster with chrome 18" twist wheels?

I'm not too much into chrome. But I ran into a great deal on some18" chrome twist wheels and wanted to see what they look like on the Boxster. My car is black with tan interior so it should look ok. But I wanted to see what they may look like first. Any pics would help. Thanks in advance for the replies.

This is how they looked on my old unit, 17" not 18" but you get the idea.

Chrome doesn't belong on a Porsche, hence the "great deal".

Chrome Rims are hard to keep…but easy to love!

I know I'm going to catch it for this but….
I am one of the few that like the chrome rims. My chrome rims are 17" though, not 18".

I need a set of 18s for the track (no, I do NOT want chrome to race-I am not that far gone).

There are a few other chrome accents that bring the car together. It is, admittedly, harder to clean those rims. And more expensive to replace, but can you say "Bling"?

Here's a pic of the chrome 17" rims….

Here is another view…

There are several companies in DFW that do a good job. Also, in CA there are some really good places. Another is on ebay - OEMRIMS, I think that is where I picked up a good deal on a set. The other option is to take your stock rims in and have it chromed but it may be more expensive that way.

For about $1,000 I'm told you can have the grey coating removed and the aluminum polished and that this is as bright as chrome but longer lasting. Has anyone done this?

Hi.
I love the way my Boxster looks at the moment, but fancied a change, so I bought a set of 17" Standard Boxster wheels off eBay, the ones I got were not as server twist as the 993 Turbo Look wheels, and I had them refurbished at a wheel specialist over here in Wales (UK) I didn't like the idea of chrome, but after seeing an example of theses "chrome effect" called "TSW Chrome" they are not so in your face Bling, at the moment I still have my black wheels on but am planing to change them over soon, just put them alongside to see what they will look like.

I have my original Red/White rear cluster lights to put back on when I change the wheels over.

These are 18' BSA Chrome wheels on my old 99 Box. They look 100X better then the twist wheels IMO.:)http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1336510754.jpg
