Driver's window
 

My driver's window has suddenly become possessed. If I try to close it, it opens all the way. If I keep playing with the switch, it will come up to about half way, but no further. There is also a faint "crunching" sound as it moves.
Does this sound like the motor, regulator or both?

You need a window regulator. Just replaced mine. Search on this site there is directions. Took me about an hour and $125.

Thanks WVBOX3R. I just saw your posting. Mine's a 2000 too. Hopefully, my replacement will go as smoothly.
