Antifreeze Smell

Has anyone ever smelled a sweet antifreeze smell after driving their car hard? I was out driving the other night when a Chrysler 300 wanted to race from a stop light. I beat him off the line by feathering the clutch out then when when driving home shortly after I smelled a faint antifreeze like smell. Is this normal?

I can't tell you if its normal or not, but I sometimes experience the same thing. Usually after a drive when it's really hot outside, or if I have driven the car pretty hard. I dont believe my car has any coolant problems, at least I hope not. I would like to hear more input on this also. I have a 99 w/ approx. 52,500miles w/ tiptronic tranny.

I had a 01 box that had the same smell it kept getting worse. I ended up replacing the H20 Pump and expanson tank, get it looked at asap.
