Trouble replacing Climate Control Unit 2002 Boxster
 

Hoping for some help!!!! I had the dreaded half moon LCD effect on the display making the temp and a/c status unreadable.

I purchased a second hand unit off ebay and fitted it with ease.

However, whilst the display worked wonderfully, the blowers, etc. did not seem to work (and there was a few knocking sounds from the back of the console), worse still was that the instrument cluster lights did not come on!

so I put the old unit back on and whilst the unit worked (all be it with the half moon issue) the instrument cluster still did not come back on...................

Help...............please!
