Auto tops direct sells them for about $650 from what I remember. I've been told GAHH or ATD is the way to go, but GAHH wants nearly $1000. I hear they're basically the same thing, same return address, same company, etc.
I'm looking to buy a glass one too! First day of Boxster ownership rear window cracks :ah:

You can patch up the rear window with liquid stitch for the time being.
Look it up, it will seal the crack and drys clear. Quick cheap fix until you can get a replacement.
Looks like it will start raining tomorrow.

 Hope that helps.

I was going to have the window replaced and they wanted $600 for the repair. Found a local top shop that has done many Porsche tops. New GAAH Glass Window top installed $1275.00 plus any plastic that needed to be replaced which there was. 2 pieces adding another $100.

Nice! I think I'll be getting one now. Any tips for the install? How long did it take you?

Install took my wife and I about 10 hours. Removal was easy and so we thought the install would be just as easy. It was not. Be patient and it will work out great. Clean everything with the top off. I would also check for bent bars/frame or other parts while you have the top off. I need to make some adjustments to mine to tighten it up but thats normal from what I hear. Adjustments to the top are done via the bolts on the backside area as noted in your instructions. Good luck.

I ordered my GAHH top off eBay for less than $700. Installed it myself but it was a challenging project.

I got lucky a month or so ago and picked up a new A5 GAHH Top w/ glass window on Ebay for $415. Got it installed professionally and it's been great so far. No problems. If you keep searching you might5eventually come across one for around that price.
